Clean OEM grille letters thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or a product of your choice.

Open hood and remove all 10 round plastic clips with clip removal tool (provided) and remove plastic covering to expose wires and to allow access for new wires.

Using household tape, secure templates (provided) to letters to locate the proper location as indicated with a red circle where ¼ inch hole will be drilled. Carefully place the template positioned correctly on top of the grille.

Carefully drill the hole over the Red Circle on the Template provided. Remove the Templates after holes are made. 

Prior to running the red and black wires through the new hole, wrap the pair together with black electrical tape to prevent red wire from being seen through the grille.

Do not run through the slotted plastic damper on the inside of the grille. When the vehicle turns on and off, he damper opens and closes automatically and could eventually cut or fray your wires. Carfully Feed the wire towards the center to conceal wiring. 

Once wires are through the hole, you can attach your new letter. Carefully remove red backing from the letter to expose the tape when you are ready to apply the new letter.

Make absolutely sure your new letter is positioned on your OEM grille letter correctly. The high quality tape is pressure sensitive and forms an extremely strong bond and has a temperature range from -40°F to 300°F. Simply put, take your time because once the letter is firmly pressed on, it is extremely difficult to change the position of the letter. Press firmly once you are certain the letter is on correctly.

Once all four letters have been installed locate the 4 sets (8 wires, 4 red and 4 black) of taped wires you pushed through the hole in the OEM letters. Using any tool that has a hook, gently work the wires to the middle part of grille. Do not pull on wires as they may become dislodged or become loose from you new letters.

Attach the four (4) red wires (power wires) to one Butt Connector.

Attach the four (4) black wires (ground wires) to one Butt Connector.

You should now have one solid red wire (power) and one solid black wire (ground).

Next, the black wire (ground) must be attached. One easy way is to run the wire to the battery and attach it to the negative terminal of the battery.

If you would like to run your lights off OEM auxiliary switches, you will need to locate the six (6) colored wires that run under the ECM (May be wrapped in electrical tape.) These wires power the auxiliary switch panel inside your Raptor near the rear view mirror. If any of them are in use you will be able to know that immediately because you will see them connected with a butt connector or something similar. Now using a test light on each wire and toggling the switch, you can locate which wire has power.

After finding your desired wire and the auxillary switch, attach your red wire (power) to this wire using a butt connector.

THERE ARE NUMEROUS WAYS TO WIRE UP YOU AWESOME LOOKING LETTERS. THIS IS THE WAY I DID IT, BUT IF YOU ARE MORE VERSED ON WIRING THAN THE AVERAGE PERSON, LIKE MYSELF, FEEL FREE TO GET LIT UP A DIFFERENT WAY. IF YOU FEEL YOU FOUND A MUCH EASIER WAY TO INSTALL AND WIRE UP YOUR NEW LETTERS, THE RAPTOR NATION WOULD BE VERY GRATEFUL IF YOU WOULD SHARE YOUR METHOD.
